Synergy Steel awarded project for framing phase of 150 townhomes utilizing light gauge panelization

Updated: Jan 15, 2019

Synergy Steel would like to congratulate Kaplan on Wayforth at Concord. Synergy is honored to be awarded the turnkey framing phase for all 150 townhomes. Synergy will be providing complete turnkey framing services utilizing our light gauge steel panelization system. All structural components including floor trusses, wall panels and roof trusses will be constructed out of light gauge steel, sheathed inside Synergy's controlled environment factory and delivered to the job-site. Upon arrival, the components will be constructed by in-house field assemblers in less than half the time of traditional wood framing construction. In addition to saving Kaplan hundreds of thousands of dollars utilizing steel vs wood, Kaplan also recognized additional benefits including no mold, non-combustible material, no warping, imperious to termites, no rusting or corroding, less maintenance costs, no waste, lower insurance premiums, etc.). GC, #EssexHomes, and their subs quickly realized that in addition to reducing cycle time, that utilizing light gauge steel was very beneficial to their operation as well as their bottom line. Synergy looks forward to continuing to partner with Kaplan, Essex and other subs on Wayforth at Concord as well as additional upcoming projects!
